12d Synergy and Continuous Development

12d Synergy was born eight years ago after the 2011 Christchurch Earthquakes devastated the city. Starting as little more than a command line source control system for 12d Model, 12d Synergy has evolved into a fully-fledged data and document management solution.

User feedback is vital to the 12d Synergy team and is the most important driving force behind its development. As such, we have introduced patch releases which allow us to respond faster to feature requests and bug fixes without users having to wait for major versions.

Introducing 12d Synergy 4.2

12d Synergy 4.2 is the first patch release of Version 4 and introduces a set of new features and quality of life updates requested by you. 4.2 also includes a number of optimisations and improvements under the hood.

The exciting new features in 4.2 include:

• Image Gallery
• File Watcher
• File Version Merging

Upgrading to 4.2

All 12d Synergy users have access to the new patch releases, and they’re cross-compatible with all Version 4 clients and servers, making upgrading simple! 12d Synergy 4.2 can be downloaded from the 12d Synergy website. Read more about 12d Synergy’s new 4.2 features in our blog series.
